Product Description

The Mercury Hercules floor buffer has an optionalthat can be purchased separately. The machine itself comes with a powerful 1.5 HP induction motor that is totally enclosed. This protects the brushes in the motor from the tiny particles that are created from sanding wood floors, ensuring that the motor will not prematurely fail!

When using this machine, it is recommended that you hook up a , or ato the base of the machine to recover dust particles when sanding a hardwood floor. To attach our sand screens, which are sold separately, we recommend attaching ato the driver, and then the sand screen to the white pad. This white pad will help prevent the pad driver from ruining your floor since the sand screens are so thin.

The triple-planetary high torque transmission runs at 175 revolutions per minute, to produce a smooth operation that will not leave gouges or swirls behind after you’re done sanding. The 19 inch apron covers the 17 inch pad driver, ensuring that all the debris and particles from sanding will be recovered. Also, in typical scrubbing or buffing situations, chemical usage is reduced by up to 50% since it does not throw the chemicals out away from the machine, rather it draws the solution back under the pad where it is needed.
